Duke EnergyDuke Energy Lee Nuclear Site
IMC was selected to acquire 4 Band (RGB & Infrared) Digital Color Imagery and LiDAR data of approximately 10,000 acres surrounding the Lee Nuclear site near Gaffney, SC . IMC deployed a DMC camera sensor coupled with POS AV Airborne GPS/ IMU and a Trimble Harrier 68i 400 kHz full wave form LiDAR system to accomplish the mission. Deliverables included 4 band digital orthos at 0.25’ pixel resolution as well as 1”=50’ planimetric and topographic mapping with 1’ contour interval of the entire project area. SCDOT I-26 MM60-75 & MM89-101
IMC was selected to provide planimetric, topographic and profile mapping of approximately 27 miles of a 350’ corridor of I-26 near Columbia, SC. Deliverables were 2D & 3D Microstation V8i design files in SCDOT levels. IMC utilized 1”=167’ low-altitude aerial imagery in conjunction with our Trimble Harrier 68i 400 kHz full wave form LiDAR system for this project. Though the vertical accuracy requirement on paved surfaces was 0.1’, IMC achieved a field tested vertical accuracy of 0.04’ RMSE.
